Pregnancy After Birth Trauma

A rauma-Informed Support Workshop for Pregnant Parents

Pregnancy after a traumatic birth can bring up a complex mix of emotions—hope, fear, grief, anticipation, and deep uncertainty. Even when things are “going well,” the body and nervous system often remember what happened before.

This workshop is created for pregnant mothers who are navigating a current pregnancy after a previous traumatic birth experience and are looking for support, understanding, and gentle ways to feel more resourced during this time.

This is not about “fixing” fear or forcing positivity. It is about meeting yourself where you are.

In this workshop, you will be invited to:

  • Explore how previous birth trauma can show up during pregnancy—emotionally, mentally, and in the body

  • Build awareness around choice, agency, and “safe-enough” coping during pregnancy

  • Connect with others who understand the unique challenges of pregnancy after trauma

  • Identify internal and external resources that can support you as this pregnancy unfolds

This workshop is especially supportive for those experiencing:

  • Anxiety or fear related to pregnancy or upcoming birth

  • Hypervigilance, intrusive thoughts, or loss of trust in their body

  • Grief for a previous birth experience alongside hope for this one

No prior experience is needed. You are welcome exactly as you are—whether you feel steady, overwhelmed, or somewhere in between.

This is a space to be seen, supported, and reminded that you do not have to navigate pregnancy after trauma alone.
